Work in Monotypes
My work in monotype serve as intramural portraitures by using color as a language to communicate the abstraction of emotions as their individual landscape. Each layer is a manifested mediation to the vehemence dwelling in the ecosystem of my subconscious.

Work IN Social Practice

The wishing tree of omission
he Wishing Tree of Omission allows a person to reconnect broken threads of dreams, hopes, wishes and aspiration by drawing or writing a message as a way to encourage closure with past omissions. This site base installation is a chance to express ways to reconcile with wandering emotions by allowing guests a space to reflect and respond to their own inner dialect without the interpretation of an outside source. All responses tied to the tree are private and will not be read by the artist or removed from the location you originally placed it in. This allows a personal connection to their contribution, yet collectively shows that no one is alone in the pursuit of closure. My hope is that our collective mass can thread roots to participate in society with our own perceptions and ideas without fear of self rejection. This tree can only blossom with each shared experience and dream.
Construction Pylon
4/11/2022-4/15/2022
Definition of construction
1: the act or result of construing, interpreting, or explaining
2a: the process, art, or manner of constructing something
Definition of pylon
1a: a usually massive gateway
This exhibition is a statement on the construction of social and personal relationships that are built on the symbols we share with each other. The safety or hazardous construction of our relationships can be reflective of our own actions of shared symbology where our connection to the environment exists. The viewer is invited to express themselves on this constructed gateway of canvas and allow the viewer to reclaim the power of constructing their own symbols to be viewed by others as our society.
NOW EXITING THE INTERNAL LANDSCAPE: TITANIC
3/4/2022-3/26/2022
Coordinates: Ice Pac
Statement:
This installation is my physical love letter to Sacramento. The work in this installation will eventually be buried in the rubble of the new luxury apartments which will house new memories of what Sacramento could be. During the exhibition, this space will be one of the few with a door to separate yourself from the rest of the world and exist in a singular space of wonder. On the last weekend of the exhibition, I invite visitors to leave their own mark within this pocket of the landscape that we share through our relationship of existing in the same coordinates.
Walls Translate Identity
12/3/2021-12/19/2021
Statement:
Walls are more than an external structure; they create the narrative of how we perceive our environment. Walls create the space needed to develop the relationships we have with others and ourselves. The difference between an alley wall and a gallery wall is in the difference in how we perceive fine art. As an artist, I want to blur those boundaries and allow the community to voice those critiques instead of the monopolized institutions. I began to use my pseudonym the Mayor to be a reminder of the change I wanted to see in the art community. I invite the community to disrupt my work in the nature of my previous duct tape murals that were subject to vulnerability and intervention. The public will have access to paint markers to add any expression or mark on the walls or objects found during this exhibition. I want walls to be given a voice and meaning that can be applied beyond the value of property taxes and monetary value. The use of social practice allows the community alongside the artist to reflect on what identity means in the structure of space and allows permission to express those ideas in a safe environment.

The Amoeba
Follow the hallucination of a group of civilians as the amoeba eats their brain cells. The one hallucination they all have in common is that they see Mimes, but as death comes so does the reality that everything was a hallucination except for the Mimes.
The Mimes are real.
